I need advice from seasoned runners...I used to run when I was "lighter"..I have stopped running in the past because of this and it's frustrating. I think it's the tendon that runs from the hip down the outside of my left leg called the Iliotibial bank(sp?) I started stretching so I think it's helping. To describe it is a sharp pain on the side of the knee next to the cap and I have to stop immediately, but I want the weight loss to be faster and I enjoy running, any advice? Has this happened to any of you?
