  • Body ball ....

It's been almost a month since I bought my ball.

I bought it because I thought it would give me the back support I need to do effective ab crunches. It did give me the support I needed.

I've also have been sitting on it at home when I watch tv, read, do my bills, etc. because folks have said just by sitting on it, it will strengthen my core muscles.

    So after 3 weeks.....

I've gone from barely being able to do 12 crunches at a time to 50 at a time. I can feel my core muscles are more stable and my posture is alot better.

So woohooo for the body ball!

    :joy

woo hoo for you I would never steer you wrong. Now are you at the advanced level where you can balace with both feet off the floor?

You could flip over and fo some upper body work out s too with some killer pushups and hand walking.

I tried sitting with both feet off the floor earlier this week. I was able to do it for a few seconds before I had to grab something (my cat is still upset with me for that.) I figure I'll work on that some more.

I've been doing some lower back specific exercises I found in Prevention magazine too. Push ups are challenging on the ball!

(Makes a nice foot stool too for the times I sit in the arm chair )

you can move the focal point froward and hang more of you off the back end until you get your upper body stronger start with the ball under your tummy and if that is too easy back it up to your hips and keep going till you finally get strong enough to doing from your toes on the ball arms on the floor. I saw one yesterday where the fellow hd hif feet on a table and his hands on the ball doing them boy did that klook hard to balance for. I was thinking I'm be eating floor

They are so fun. I was so scared to use one until my trainer got me hooked.
