One of my major problem areas is my mid back. I have a lot of back fat that I really want to get rid of. What kind of exercises would you all recommend for that particular area?

I've found with exercise, I've lost all over, not being able to specifically pin-point an area. One of the things thats helped is to not focus on one area...just exercise and your body will eliminate the fat areas. I've heard over and over that the last place you put on is the first to go. That seems to have been the way it worked for me.
I'd work out your whole body and keep a journal of what seems to shed the fat the fastest for you. Thats the best way to see what exercises make you feel the best and see the best results. I walked a lot (4+ miles a day and swam at least 1 hour everyday). I'm now able to work out on the exercise machines and do more strenuous exercises than I could when I started.Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

Okay, I lost a roll in about a month swimming but I think it has a lot to do with the cardiovascular exercise and just burning the fat.


I got that much better in less than 6 weeks mostly swimming.
