No Hero here. Just dedication and work.

Months of preparation for that feeling of crossing the finish line after 26.2 miles. Priceless.

6 miles in. 18 mile long run tomorrow.

Rich, I hear ya on the priceless feeling of crossing that marathon finish line. Done it twice now, and despite the pain, I am planning my 3rd next February. It truly is an incredible achievement!

Sunday, 8 miles. 19 miles in 2 days and these 52 year old bones are feeling it.

I am signed up for the Walt Disney World Minnie Marathon next Sunday. Its a fun 15k. I did it back in 2006. Start time is 6:15am ... hope its cooler then that it was today (it was near 90 today!)

This is the last week of high miles. 44 miles this week with a 20 miler on Sunday. That leaves a 3 week taper leading up to the Madison Marathon.
