I know we have a place to post menus and have the pros take a looksee, so I'd like to do the same for my workouts. I've been exercising for a week now (wooo, taking it one step at a time), and I want to make the most of the work I'm doing. I've been doing a similar work out 5 days a week.
- 20 minutes of cardio
10 minutes arms (weights)
10 minutes abs
10 minutes lower body[\list]
What do you think? I was considering doing 1 hour of cardio plus arms and abs one day, and abs and lower body the next.
I want to do enough exercise to be getting the best bang for my buck, but I don't want it to be so daunting that eventually I stop doing it, KWIM?
After a week of this I've only lost 1 lb, and 2.5". In your opinion am I on the right track, or is there something else I could be doing?
I am a stay at home mom with no car, and jogging is right out, I might get a black eye! (LOL
) Walking really isn't an option, we don't live in the best neighborhood, and I wouldn't feel comfortable. I am in the process of trying to get a treadmill.
Anyhoo, please, I'd appreciate any advice/suggestions.
Thanks!
