Ok people lets not kid ourselves, there are those who follow Atkins to the T with foods and exercise. However there are some (I used ot be a guilty party) who noticed the pounds drop without increasing any kind of activity. We are lazy and/or don't find the "need" to since we are dropping the weight without the work. After all, who wants to do more work right? Well I'm going to tell you this, exercise is absolutely necessary.
I'm sure there are alot of you (if not most?) that already know the information I am about to say. However just in case someone doesn't then here is osmething to think about/ready. The reason that I am posting this is just by reading some things (such as this article http://www.thefactsaboutfitness.com/research/visc.htm ) about fat and what not I've read/realized there are different types. There is visceral and subcutaneous. Visceral fat is the fat protecting the organs. Subcutaneous fat is the fat that is just under the skin, AKA the fat that "makes us look ugly, especially naked". In the link I just posted there study found that just diet alone...rather diet and little exercise... had reduced more visceral than subcutaneous. However with more exercise and little change in diet about roughly twice as much SC fat was lost rather than visceral.
Long story short, as Atkins and many of you say "Exercise is non-negotiable"....especially if you want to look good naked (I threw htat last part in there
lol.
