  • Which is a better workout?

    cardio for 30min followed by
    pilates day 1
    back/shoulders/some abs day 2
    legs (lunges/squats)/some abs day3
    triceps and biceps/some abs day4
    pilates day 5

    day 6 maybe walk otherwise take day 6 and 7 off.

    OR

    Cardio 45 min day 1
    full body weight train day 2
    cardio 45min day 3
    full body weight train day 4
    cardio 45 min day 5

    They both look great to me ! WTG putting those rest days in there .. they are very important !

      Doesn't p90x kinda get you bulky? and is geared towards more ripping than toning?

        My vote is for the second routine, although I also like to do pilates at least twice a week too. But when I worked with a trainer she insisted on four days a week of cardio and two to three days of weights a week. According to her, the cardio is what takes the fat off, the weights tone everything up.
