I have had the slim in 6, power 90x, and turbo jam. They all work really well! My problem is that I get bored easily. I like Turbo Jam the best because of many reasons.
1. The people on the tape aren't annoying. I have a hard time getting into a workout when people annoy the crap out of you.
2. Not everyone on the tapes are stick thin, some people have meat on their bodies. To me that's refreshing, I can't stand it when all they show are people as thick as a pice of paper. I can't relate to them (yet...hehe)
3. Turbo Jam's music is more fun
4. Turbo Jam has a really good 20 minutes workout that's great when you don't have time.
5. Turbo jam has this really cool thing mixed within the workout that the other's don't. It's called "Turbo Time" This is happends towards the end of you workouts where you heart rate is already up and then you need to kick it up a more for about 2 minutes of really intense workout.
I just find Turbo Jam easier to follow (no complicated steps) and more fun than slim in 6 and p90x. Worth the money in my opinion. You could probably get them for cheaper on ebay or amazon.
At this point I don't alternate. Hopefully I'll work up to the longer workouts. Right now I do the 20 minute workout after I get home from work. Even though it's 20 minutes it's a really hard workout (for me anyway). I've tried all the tapes but that was a couple of years ago. I wasn't motivated enough to stick with them (which I am now).
Wow I just re-read my post and my english is BAAAAAAD!!!! I need to proof-read my stuff before I post it! Holy cow. I can't do the spell check thing cause it asks me to download something and I can't do that at work. Geez.
I have P90 and loved it until I started a VERY repetitive job and now I'm having a hard time staying focused. That said, it is the simplest best working work out I've ever hard. I'm going to move to P90 masters probably sooner than later for the simple reason that the power 90 series really works but I need the variety of the masters series. Honestly, I have heard good things about most of the series. The beach body workouts seem much more solid and better researched/ safer instruction etc than other videos I have tried.
