I have one that's been put away for a few years now, but recently I've decided to get it back out again. My DH is out of town, but when he gets back I'm going to make him clean up his side of the room so we'll have a place to put it! LOL!

I'm a dedicated Nordic Track user too

I use mine 3-4 times a week or even more if I cant get to the pool or weather is to wet to run

Mine is close to 10 years old & works just as good as the day I got it. The quality of the Nordic Track line is VERY good

I even have an extra almost new one I bought for spare parts or as a replacement I got at a yard sale for $25 (Yes $25!) in my shed (they cost around $4-500)

This brings up a good point, although a lot of equipment is expensive if you check the classifieds & yard sales there is a LOT of practically new exercise equipment available for a mere fraction of the original cost being sold by people who bought it w/the best intentions, never really used it & now want to get rid of it for any price just to free up the space it's taking up. There is no need to pay high prices for home gym equipment believe me, just look around a little bit

For some reason Nordic Tracks seem to have fallen out of favour & been replaced by those damn ellipiticals, but the ellipiticals dont give as good a workout as arms & legs work together in tandem to make you move. I think maybe one reason is you cannot just jump on one & do it, its a bit like a bike you have to learn to use it & it takes a while. In this impatient, no want to wait world the ellipitical has no learning curve

But On the Nordic Track you get two seperate upper & lower body workouts at the same time so it is a much heavier workout

This is one of the best exercise machines ever invented w/no joint impact, just like swimming

Any other Nordic Trackers out there?

Ours is around 10 years old also (not sure off the exact date) and one of my family members love it, but I personally hate it. Something about it. Just me though.

          Hey!

MY DH loves his. He has had it for over 10 years. He uses it all year round, but especially hard leading up to ski season. And yes, it is a quality piece of equipment. All these years and it is still in top notch condition despite constant use.

I tried it but I don't use it at all. If I use any equipment, I prefer my step or some type of video tape. But I suspect that that has to do with the fact that I LOVE to dance. Anything remotly resembling dancing and I am highly likely to put in the effort to do it well.
