8 miles in!!
This is the last big mileage week, then it's on to marathon #7. Got a 20 miler trying to stare me down Saturday morning. Not happening. I am so going to dominate these 43 miles this week!
What are you getting psyched up for? WALKING a block or two at a time was how I started this 50 marathons in 50 states quest.
Got it in you? You would be surprised how much you can do once you lose the word CAN'T from your vocabulary.
How about walking a 5K? A half marathon? Race your grandson to the end of the couch?
It all counts. Get out there and exercise. Extend your life. Feel great with the life you have. Don't end up old and sedentary. Climb Pike's Peak when your 80. I'm hoping to be running marathon's at that age.
Sorry for the ramble. There are, sometimes, runs that you finish that make you feel like you could accomplish anything.
This is one of those days.
That's why I run.

It hates being PUSHED and trust me, I PUSH IT .. I've gotten to the AGGRAVATED point with it .... so tired of the pre-surgery pain and even more tired of the post-surgical rehabilitation pain .. which of course the doctor assures me WILL PASS .. (WHEN????) I *am* gaining some dorsiflexion in the toe, but its SLOW going...and of course I am NOT a patient patient....

and I couldn't make an audible "flip-flop" sound with the left foot .. but guess who can make a sound NOW?????? Albeit very quietly, but if you strain, you can hear it!
Considering I've only been weight bearing for a total of 18 days?? YAY ME !
