  • Yay! I got a good deal!

As I'm sure many of you have seen me post asking about the Gazelle. I've been looking to buy a used one, but today I just decided to break down and buy a new one.

The gazelles come in three catagories:

The edge- (CRAP) no resistance, and a big waste of money $100+
The Freestyle- better, some resistance $200+
The Max- The top of the line of gazelles, comes with cup holder! $300+

Today I was at Sam's Club and I found a Gazelle Max on the clearance rack (it was the last one in the store) it was $198! Yay! I'm so excited. So I got the best Gazelle they offer, and I got it on sale! It was FATE!!!!!

    (sorry, I'm a shop-a-holic, and I love a great sale!)

        I LOVE IT!!!!

It is so much fun! I enjoy doing it. So does DH. We are going to invest in a treadmill when we get in better shape so we can start jogging/running.

Could you tell me how to find what my heart rate should be at? I've looked up some things and it says my high is about 156, but I thought I read somewhere on the board that you should be aiming for lower to get the optimum fat burn.

Thank you all for your support! :hug

60% is what is referred to as fatburning range 70-80% id cardio range.

You can do a long slow session in the fatburning range or a short high intrensity 20 min workout in the cardio range.

Or you can do an HIIT workout like Loonatika and I do and combine the two.

Enjoy your machine right now whay=t you want to do is get in shape on it and then adjust your workout ofr fatburnig cardio and you still got to do the resistance part of your Atkins too.
