Hi i just started atkins and im on extended induction. what i want to know is. at the moment im 327lb. How often should i exercise? what should i do? Some people say don't go straight into too much for my size? can anyone give me advise?

Stretching is a great way to warm up before any type of exercise. It's exercise aswell.
I recomend walking. Start out with 10- 15 minutes and work your way up. Try to beat your time each day even by a minute. Your body will tell you when it's enough. Walking is # 5 on the best aerobic exercise list. It's one of my exercises of choice.
Swimming is another excellent exercise. So much easier on your joints and is an all over body workout.

I'm at 330lbs now. I lift 3 days a week following the body for life lifting program and I do the cardio from that program as well. Cardio is 20 mins of interval training.
Really builds up the endurance quickly!!"I'm big boned" ...Um, nobody has bones that big....

I started with walking for a couple months then began the couch 2 5k running program and eventually progressed to weights, running and rock climbing. At your size, body weight exercises and walking will go a long way until you have strengthened your ligaments and gotten some of the weight off. Weights are also a great way to increase muscle mass and metabolism as well as get those joints stronger so you don't get injured with more intense exercises. Pick up the basic P90 set (not ex or masters) and some small dumbells or a kettleball and a book. I always recommend starting with something you can keep up. Do it for a good month or two (or three until it becomes automatic) before adding something new. That way it truly becomes a habit. I see a lot of people who change their diet and jump into a full exercise regime and bam three weeks later not only has the exercise tanked but the diet did as well. Make exercise your hobby or a healthy version of the traditional "smoke break" and eventually you will find what clicks for you.

well, when I started, back in march and 94 pounds ago, I hitted the threadmill every day for 10 minutes, I was going non faster than 3.5 m/h cause my physical condition was crap, my heart rate used to go up to 140 b/m, but try to keep it from 125 to 135. this is good to boost your resistance and blood oxigenation. after a month of this just hit it 3 times a week, but at 5 m/h and for 20 to 30 mins. always lift some weights after your cardio, it extents your body resistance and will give you some good strength for those up and coming sleepless nights with your partner!!!! My GF loves my new look, my new positive attitude, my renovated desire to get more out of life!!! wow, this is my first open atkins post and I feel so liberated!!!
atkins for life!!!!My doctor said "get out of my clinic, I can't afford a walking heart attack in it, neither my insurance" that moved something inside me.

you can actually get a trainer. they can guide you and teach you what to do and what do not.
It just keep going down and up, down and up *SLAP* wake up!!!

Well, the people on the BBL are usually very overweight and they are placed into exercising right away. They do have supervision of a doctor. But what i would do if i were you is talk to your doctor, he may be able to refer you to a sports doctor or even a physical therapist that would gauge your actual physical fitness and make a plan for you, explain about your heart rate concept and evaluate you on your progress to get you started.
But all in all, i would start with a lot of little things on top of actual cardio, parking further away, taking stairs, walking around the block or to the end pf the block and back before getting in your car or going in the house. Little things add stamina.
But i think you need to talk to your doctor first and foremost instead of asking here, especially if you aren't sure if you should be starting exercising.
