Inch in total or an inch off your waist?

My loss has slowed down now since I'm so close to goal, but in the last 3 months I've dropped down a clothing size from a 10 to a 8.

My inches go in spurts, even gain during TOM and sometimes for no reason but overall (like one month to the next) I am losing slowly. Like you, I actually gained in my waist! I hate that because it's already so thick!

          you know my frustration then!
Why do you think we gained at the waist?
My TOM is coming up... i'm hoping this is the reason for my measuring tape not moving down.

Well, Arias, you are very lucky then. I always gain a couple inches during my TOM. I wasn't in TOM when I gained but I had upped my situps (with weights) a lot so I wondered about that. Also, I had a huge amount of water weight (still do - have a problem with this). After lowering my sodium (was up around 2600 mg) I lost back to where I was before. Do you eat a lot of salt or items with salt in them (cheese, bacon, fast food burgers, canned products)?

Oh, another one...do you go #2 regularly? If you don't go enough that may build up and push your tummy out (know from experience). If that's the case add ground flaxseed for fiber (and other really great things like essential oils). Also, if I am eating something with a lot of sodium I add flaxseed somewhere in there - I don't know if it helps but it seems to.

Some people claim that Tonalin CLA helps reduce the tummy area. Worth a try!

I also agree: MORE FIBER! :nod

This is purely a theory but I also think fat moves around before it eventually disappears. I know I've found some weeks where my waist is thicker and then my abdomen is and then they both shrink.
