  • Should I be concerned?

I was at the gym on campus today, using an elliptical machine. I was using it for about 50 minutes.

Maybe 35-40 minutes in, my fingers/hands started to tingle. Like they were going numb. Is that... a bad thing? I mean, I know it's not great. But is it something I should worry about? Or is it just because my heart's pumping so much?

    Thanks.

IrishRain, maybe you need to work up slowly instead of starting with such a big workout, especially if you are not used to it.

I don't know why you had those results, but I would suggest proceeding cautiously.

I agree with Sunny....that happened to me once when I went a little too hard at the gym.

        Ok, thanks.
It's not that I'm not used to working out. At the beginning of the year I was going at it almost every day. It's just been a while since then and now. Haha. =P

I'll take it easier next time.
