  • Callanetics advice for obese

    Hi,

I've decided that the best form of exercise for me at the moment is callanetics. My tummy is starting to get looser especially the lower half and I need to do something that will help with further weight loss.

I have been doing research and there's so much information out there I'm a bit lost. I won't be able to do 60 minutes straight, I'm just looking for beginners exercises that's suitable for someone of my size.

My goal is to start with 15 minutes a day 7 days a week and see how I feel from there.

    Any advice would be welcomed.

What do you have at the moment? I have 3 dvd, Callanetics '10 years younger in 10 hours', and the newer 'Callanetics Evolution.' I see no reason you couldn't do part of each workout as you find time. However... you will be amazed at how quickly an hour goes by, esp doing '10 in 10'.. the hour flies by for for me. I like them both, have SuperCallanetics but haven't tried them yet. I also have a couple of books. If you are looking to divide your workouts, and want a book format, 'Callanetics Countdown' is the book for you. Easy to customize your workout with this, and I got mine used at Amazon.com. Amazon also carries a workout broken down in to 'Am/Pm' segments, 'Am/Pm Callanetics.'

It is a great workout, I feel limber and relaxed every time I complete a session!

At the moment I don't have anything.

I was checking out Callanetics '10 years younger in 10 hours' before and it's got some really good reviews so will purchase the DVD from Amazon.

The 'Callanetics Countdown' book you mentioned is it the '30 days to a beautiful body' book?

The AM/PM books sounds ideal for me as well, it's only 32p on Amazon so that's going in my basket as well.

Thanks for your advice, I'm so excited and can't wait to begin.

Yes, that is the right book, 30 days to a beautiful body. The AM/PM will be a DVD, not a book.

        Also sending you a PM.
