    Eating after excercise

Do the same rules apply for intensive work-outs when you are on Atkins. I used to work-out a lot more before atkins (because I thought i had to create a calorie deficit of 500 a day) and people always said you must eat 15-30 minutes after your work-out. This is so you replenish your energy stores (which I think were carbs back then) and repair muscle.

I am curious though...since now when I work-out I am burning fat (no longer carbs) do the same rules apply?

    Thanks!

A nice protein shake will help repair the minute muscle tears of rigorous exercise!

a friend of mine, who was a personal trainer, gave me good advice and its perfect for this lifestyle... after a good run/workout, etc i eat about 2tbsp of peanut butter... gives you pretty much all that you need and heck its not that many carbs at all... that and plenty of water!
