    Hello I have a questions (not to be immature),

    I was wondering what the best exercise is to lose the fat around my butt? How can I work out the muscle of my butt?

    EASY! POWER WALKING WILL GET IT DONE! Like try a mile in 12 minutes or less ... you'll feel the burn in the glutes, guaranteed!

    Work your way up in mileage ... believe me, this works!

      I'd recommend the following..

      1.lunges
      2.squats
      3.walking on an incline
      4.hip extensions
      A.K.A: 64oz

        Ya, lunges and Squats kick but wow I love feeling my but muscles when they are sore also 1 legged squats are awesome too.

          Well thanks alot guys. I'm a guy and I started to see my but grow so I am a bit worried. I started running/jogging/walking for 20 minutes and my but really is sore so I guess its a nice start but I will have to see how lunges and squats work out. Thanks guys.

            You really have two questions -
            1) how to lose fat around your butt? and
            2) how to work the butt muscles (glutes)?

            There are two different answers. first off, you cannot reduce the fat in one area of your body. you reduce fat in your whole body at the same time. to do that, the calories you take in should be less than the calories you expend (Atkins allows this because you eat fat and feel full quicker and eat less calories). Then you need to do cardio exercise to burn the fat. Walking , jogging, biking, treadmill ect are good for cardio.

            As for strengthening the butt muscles, 64 oz is correct, lunges and squats are the best exercises to do that.
