I was wondering if it matters what time of day you work out?? I heard from a friend that if you are trying to lose weight that you should hit the gym before you eat. Would it be just as successful if you went in the afternoon?

You burn more fat on an empty stomach. Your stomach is most empty in the morning... however, if you were to work out right before dinner, it would have a similar effect. Basically, don't work out right after you eat because then you are more likely burning what you ate rather than your own fat...
