  • Pre-Race Food

    This question is for the runners out there...
    I'm doing a 10K this weekend and have never run a race while on Atkins. Pre-race bagels have always been my favorite! I just wanted to get some advice on what to eat beforehand. I'm thinking some nuts or maybe some peanut butter and celery. Does anyone have any other favorites? Thanks!

    I run 10K just about every weekend. I do not race though. A jog. But I never load anything. I may have a bit of protein an hour before running if there is some time - like an egg or sometimes a bit of peanut butter and cottage cheese.
