  • need help w/ daily work out routines...

my diet has been going great! i just feel like my body has gotten used to the no carbs, and i have also been working out every day, but i feel like i'm not doing enough. i'm running an hour and a half every day, and i'm also doing an hour long work out video every day too. im drinking approx. 3-4 liters of water a day.

soooo what other work out routines should i do? i heard i should not lift weight because i need to lose all my fat first, and lifting weight is for toning.

It sounds like you are doing plenty.
My only advice would be to mix things up a bit. Do different exercises so the body do not get too used to things.
I think lifting is great exercise and it is not for toning. It is for strength and muscle building and we all need that.
    Work on your core especially.

And don't overdo things. You need some down time too

I've always been told to weight lift as much as I do cardio because the more muscle you have the faster you lose weight as muscle burns more calories. If you don't want to bulk up simply do smaller weights but more repetitions of the moves. That is what every trainer has ever told me. Do it slowly, watch your body structure, and keep the weights low. Also, yoga and pilates are great for conditioning your core (like liv said, its a good idea to do) as well as keeping the muscles lean and switching up the routine a bit.

Personally I walk .5 miles 5 days a week, weight lift 3 days a week, do aerobics 3 days a week, and do a stationary bike and elipictal set about twice a week. I just ordered some new exercise videos to add back in some pilates and yoga as well.
