I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I've noticed that while I am exercising, I tend to get a little bloated. Yesterday I did a ton of yardwork, and that was the first exercise I had in several months (I'm on induction now -- trying to get it all together), and I swelled up. I tried to push the water even better than usual because I was so hot.
It could be a total coincidence, but I didn't lose too much weight yesterday despite all the exercise, and being very strict about my food. Maybe I didn't eat enough?
I'm not sure what I'm asking -- except if there's a way to prevent that effect of exercise, or maybe if it's a good thing?
Thanks!

It will let go of it again. All of us see a bit of water retention if we suddenly push ourselves. Partially that is because we need some water to repair small tears in our muscles. It is part of the cycle of exercising. This is also why we should allow for rest days. Do push ups one day but not the next for instance. Make sure you drink lots and get your electrolytes in (Mulitvitamin is good and I often do extra magnesium, potassium and calcium or focus on mineral rich food)
