I think all of us are worried about the skin hanging on our neck. Does anybody know of any exercises we can do to keep this area from getting saggy flabby?

I'd heard of one that you could do for the neck area, I can't say whether or not it works well though. Basically what you do is first sit upright in a chair or on the edge of the bed. Tilt your head up so that you are looking toward the ceiling. You have to try and keep your lips closed and do a chewing motion about 20-40 times.A.K.A: 64oz

Makes sense, you will in a way work the neck muscles but mainly towards the back of the neck. When you do your crunches you really want to limit the involvement that any other body part has in the process so try to not let your chin touch your chest either, better to let your abs do all the work if possible. I find it helpful at first to learn the form if you can put a tennis ball between your neck and chest to get a sense of the distance you need between the two.A.K.A: 64oz

Okay. Thanks 64oz. When I do crunches I place my hands behind my head for light support if I need it. I try to focus on raising up using stomach muscles but just the fact of bringing my head up also seems to use the muscles in the neck. Thus a bonus for that area. I don't believe that I have my chin on my chest at all but I will try the tennis ball thing you mentioned to make sure I'm using the proper form. :yes
