Wednesday, on my way to the YMCA, I was sitting at a red light while the guy behind me didn't stop. He hit me so hard my teeth hurt!
The car sustained minor injuries, but my back is killing me! The doctor gave me some muscle relaxers, but that is the least of my worries.
I have been in this Lifestyle Change since January (8 weeks - 9 tomorrow) and have been experiencing a HUGE, disappointing stall. So, I enrolled at the Y and started exercising. The scale still didn't move, but my clothes started fitting better. And, after reading many posts, I decided to stop getting on the scale so much and take my measurements.
That was Monday of this week (5 days ago).
Now, I can move, but it hurts. A lot. Because of this, I've missed out on my workouts (mostly aerobic [Zumba]) and am deathly worried that all I've started will become an even bigger, longer stall.
Also, let me also divulge, when I signed up at the Y, they strongly suggested I start with aerobics to get my heart rate and breathing up to snuff - and not to work with weights till at least 3 months in.
So, I was wondering, since I don't have a personal trainer to ask, what exercises I can do (swimming??? I don't know!) so that I don't hurt my progress too much.
Thanking you all in advance,
