    Thanks for posting. I think I will try to remember to read the actual research paper too. It is really not great when our metabolism slows down is it Something got to go.

    Exercising is good for you and I suggest not to worry you have to start somewhere. Build up slow. Try to find things that you enjoy and will keep on doing

        I thought that they were saying that if you only exercise you will not lose weight, but maintain...that you have to both diet and exercise to lose weight...well for women who are at the sexy age...!!!! I mean middle aged!!!! But they were saying in order to lose weight you have to have both diet and exercise. I like doing the exercise because it has lowered my blood pressure. Well I truly believe that...I guess I am going to have to start chasing good looking guys down a longer street!!! (Just Kidding)....

          but did you checkout the exercise they counted? a leisurely bike ride, playing catch or walking for 60 mins counts as that needed exercise. if you are doing intense stuff then 30 mins is still fine
