  • Discuss SLIM IN 6 * Those Presently Doing It Regularly......

...and those interested in getting started, WELCOME! :wave

A new fresh thread which will hopefully be a little more active.

I've done the "Start It Up" and "Ramp It Up" portions of the program and I have found them pretty effective so far and I have managed to do them without too much suffering, LOL. Yesterday, I tried jumping ahead to "Burn It Up".

    Oh my goodness! :yikes

I thought I was gonna die!!! I was burning up alright. I was 15 minutes shy from finishing the workout because I was barely able to move.

I realized then that I should stick to "Ramp It up" like I'm supposed to, in order to physically prepare myself for "Burn It Up".

This series of workout does work.

I think the problem with many is just sticking to it. It does take some serious commitment to stick to it. It's a lot of work. I have to talk myself into doing it everyday and it's not as easy as all that. I think of reasons and excuses everyday not to do it. Then I realize I have a goal to meet and drag myself to get started. Once I'm started I'm fine. The hardest part for me is getting started; once I win that great battle with myself, everything else is routine. It's worth it. I feel better about myself afterwards every time and I'm a little closer to my goal.

I'm hoping to have lost some inches and Lbs. by June 1st.

Does anyone know as to whether or not that's a realistic goal? Anyone?

Specifically, I'm looking for at least 15 Lbs. weight loss by then. I need to lose more of course, but 15 Lbs. is my first minor goal.

Thanks in advance for your replies!! :wave

    Hiya Food Addict! :wave
I am back on Slim in 6. I have done it a few times. I gotta tell ya Burn it Up kicked my *ss! I actually never did that one for more than a couple days. I am going to try to get through it this time around, but find the Ramp it Up was good for me. The program is a great workout. Can't give any advice on how much weight loss you will have, but man it will get you in shape! I had to help my DD move from a 2nd floor apartment to a 2nd floor apartment, no elevators. I have to tell you I would never have been able to do all those steps prior to doing the SIS. I have lost lots of inches, I just got pics back from starting the SIS the first time (in October? OK, I am slow with film developing! LOL) Need to get some new pics to compare, but the family says a BIG difference!
Anyway, I find that when I have strayed from the SIS I have missed it! I like to get up in the morning and do it, and I am good for the day!
So I am there with ya girlfriend! Keep it going! And I will see ya in the 6WEC!

      Hiya! :wave

Thank you for your reply. I'm glad you're doing well and sticking with it. "Ramp it Up" is the best stage for me as well.

I haven't seen any activity on the topic aside from us two, so maybe the program didn't work for everyone or maybe it was too hard to stick with.

I sure hope we hear from some of ya' soon and I certainly hope you are all doing well.

As far as how SI6 is working out for me, so far so good. :yes
