Wii Balance Board Games Roundup - For a complete list of Nintendo Wii Balance Board Games. Game reviews, previews and all the gossip on the Wii Board. That site keeps track of and reviews all the new balance board games that come out!

There are a few out now. At Xmas i noticed snowboarding and skateboarding games that would be great for getting teens/kids exercising.

I love the hula hooping and the yoga/strength training. I bought the champion boxing game that comes with Everlast gloves with pockets for the controllers, but haven't tried it yet. I may tonight actually! I'll give a review when i do

I have the WII Fitness Trainer. Its a virtual trainer who adjusts complete workouts for you and you can incorporate hand weights and steps, stability balls, etc. I have been doing it for 2 weeks now nightly and its absolutely awesome. I am a non-exerciser, but this game keeps me motivated and into it. If you can, check it out. My cost 30.00 cn, and you dont need a board or equipment.

Ohhhhh! I am very tempted to ask for one of these for my birthday.... with the Wii of course ;-) My only reservation is that I don't want everyone to be playing games ALL the time! Do they have kids games for the Wii?

Yup. They have a ton of them. ...and with the Fit, even kids can use it - I think yours might be a bit young though, I think the minimum age is 6? I'm not sure off the top of my head. Obviously they need to weigh a certain amount to register.

The WII fit is the best, i have moved up to the 6 mins of hoola hoop, which doesnt sound like much but the first time i tried i couldnt even get through 3 min. My son is 5 and only weighs 40lbs., I tried to do my daughter whose 2 but she didnt weight enough! Lyssie: How is the Jillian Michaels?

Lyssie i'm curious about the Jillian Michaels game too..

                        Re: Wii Fit

i got the family a wii for valentine's day as an i love all of you gift. it is fun and we get to spend time as a family laughing our heads off. i still can't drive a mario car yet!

i saw the wii fit at costco last weekend for about $75. i am hesitant to buy it. my principal is 6'8" and he told me he got it, and used it with his family....and his little MII popped up and said he was OBESE! i would CRY. otherwise, it sounds like fun

what is the difference between wii fit and wii trainer? anyone know?

                          Re: Wii Fit

The Jillian Michaels is fun - though I think it functions much better without using the balance board which is sad. It could just be that my remote needed batteries or whatever... I am not sure I would pay the $40 for it if I had to do it again though.

I wanted to get the Fitness Coach when it was $20 from Best Buy, apparently now it is back up to $30, but this is available at Target too...

Betsy - Wii Fit is the Balance Board, the Wii Trainer is just a game that you can (I believe) use with the Wii Fit.

Just an FYI, there's a new game launching this week (march 31) for the Balance board from Golds Gym, I like the looks of it from the description, but will wait for some online reviews.
