anticoagulants and Atkins

Anyone here doing Atkins and taking anticoagulants? Does this WOE affect your clotting times at all? My hub, who is on anticoagulants for life, was wondering. He needs to lose about 10 lbs, but wants to go the low cal route. I'm gently trying to ease him towards Atkins, or at least low carb...and would like to have an answer for him.
