How much sodium is too much?

I've noticed a lot of sodium in some of the foods I eat...but I don't now how much is healthy. How much sodium daily is considered ok?

    Thanks!

2,400 mg of sodium a day. That equals about 6 grams of salt (sodium chloride).
The easiest way to decrease your sodium on this diet is to limit processed foods, like bacon, cold cuts, etc.
