When we need antibiotics and we have an infection our inmune system is activated and this can cause blood sugar issues, some antibiotics can raise blood sugar all by themselves, we become less active causw we are ill so we burn less fats and if you don't adjust your carb and food intake to reflect this lowering of your activitiy levels you can stop and or gain weight.
Also many antibiotics cause fluid weight gain So you could add some temporary fluid weight.
if you are taking them preprocedural like someome with heart valve damage before a dental appointment then they should have no effect other then a temp fluid increase.
