Yes, I do realize that I'll be stuck exercising forever, lol.
Chances are good that I'll either chicken out or not want to pay all the money... but I sure do think about it a lot!

I guess I opted for the color of tattoos it was less expensive ...less invasive ..quicker recovery time ....and has the added bonus of drawing the eye away from flaws

              Re: Tummy tuck?

I can understand if someone would want to get a tummy tuck to remove excess skin. My advice is to first get to your goal weight because you may find that a tummy tuck is unnecessary. Your skin may be more resilient than you think. If all else fails you can get the tuck.

One of my co-workers had a tummy tuck and lipo done before she had gotten to her goal and now that she has lost more weight her skin is loose again and she plans to get another tummy tuck. I cannot imagine all the money that poor lady has spent by now.

I've also wondered about another thing regarding tummy tucks -

I've heard from a few people that it's not a good idea to get a tummy tuck until you are certain you are finished having children or are sure you never want to give birth. I guess it has something to do with the belly skin needing to be kept elastic and able to stretch properly. That's what turned me off of it.

                  Re: Tummy tuck?

My hubby and I have discussed it, and if after 2 years of maintaining my GOAL weight, and exercising, the skin on my belly hasn't bounced back, i'll be getting a tummy tuck.

I've seen alot of before/after on the internet, looking up all the different things about the procedure and what strikes me the most odd is how many FAT GIRLS get them. SOrry but I just can't over it!! I see picture upon picture of a girl who really really needs to diet.. and she goes and gets a tummy tuck. (shakes head)

Well that's years away for me.. maybe 5 years and i'll be there!! THough ideally I sure would like it if all my skin shrank back and I didn't need to do anything but exercise!!
