Are there foods that contribute to joint pain?

I have joint pain everywhere (including ankles and knees), it's terrible when the weather suddenly changes. Some things, though like my hands/wrist may be carpel tunnel related, but it hasn't been bad enough to see a doc.

I figured, I've been to the doc for a mildly sprained ankle and sore thumb...it's always the same, they give me naprosyn and tell me to wear a splint. So, I just take OTC naprosyn and wear an OTC splint.

Try taking cod liver oil tablets. or even just cod liver oil. That is supposed to be good for the joints.

I hope this helps a little.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

You should google nightshade vegetables. They're known to aggrevate arthritis. I wish I had time to get more into detail, but my job is no picnic today.

You're right 4mysize...I should go see my doc. I guess I just got really tired of getting the same thing each time...but I should talk to her again. I due for a physical next month, so I'll bring up the joint pains then.
