    Does anyone know if B-12 vitamins effect the diet in any way? I've taken B-12 for two years now and I'd hate to stop, it has great benefits!

    DON'T STOP! It helps, not only is it a vital nutrient necessary for many metabolic processes, it is also valuable to your nervous system, it is not toxic even in high doses, and can even help with symptoms of PMS.

      you should discuss with your healthcare provider what vits and minerals you will need to take while doing Atkins. ther is a large amount of B12 in the protein sources of the Atkins plan. According to Northwestern's nutritional school's research
      absorptive efficiency decreases with increased dose of B12
      so you could be tossing your money down the toilet if you ingest too much
      by the book atkinseer
