    Help with the cost of Perscription Drugs

    My DH and I get free Perscription drugs as he is retired military so when my daughter told me that she had to pay $180 for some pills I just about died as the poor kid doesn't have that kind of money. Anyway, I found this out for her and she found out that she qualifies so I thought I would pass it on to you.

    There are some drug assistance programs for the uninsured. For programs offered by drug companies go to www.pparx.org or www.rxoutreach.com respectively. Veterans can ask about programs from the Department of Veterans Affairs at www.va.gov/healthelgibility

    That is good info. The RXoutreach looks pretty good! I have insurance but know of a few tween parents insurance and job insurance that I can pass this along to. Thanks!

        Thanks for the post and for sharing - I copied the web pages down - I might live in Norway now - but you never know I might move back to the states in the future and need help with my migraine meds!

          Thats what my DD uses that costs 100s of bucks. It's insane.
