Yep, I got mine last week. They allowed faculty and staff to get them at the student health center. That sure made it convenient.~Joy

I get so ill from it every year. Now that the army can't tell me to get it, I'm not.

So Grizzly's not the only one that stays up all night looking at the threads and no he hasn't gotten his flu shot. Never taken one but, kids always do. Where we live in mountains doesn't seem to have a big problem. Maybe clean air or way toooooo much snow in winter.

My employer pays for them, so you bet .. if I can avoid being sick, I'll do anything. I get mine on Monday!

I got mine on the 24th. I've been healthy and not been sick, but this past year I've had three operations and figured that I needed one -- I'm sure my body has been through a lot and don't want to take any chances.Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

I am only working half days next week so I am going to get mine next week. All the hospitals I go to give them to employees and volunteers, but I am a consultant and they won't give it to me even if I offer to pay for it, so I have to go to my doctor who is an hour away to get it. I moved and love my doctors so I won't change. Next week will be good. I remember having the flu as a child and don't want it again........Dawn

I missed the day they were giving them at work so I probably won't now. If I get to the doctor in the next month, I may go ahead and get one there. I just can't see paying for an office call too when that's all I want.Comment

We get them free here and there are clinics everywhere, the gov't reall pushes them (guess it keeps the ER's a bit quieter) so yes I will be getting one. just waiting for the flu shot clinic to open up at the municipal building near my house in a couple of weeks.Jen, 39, F

I got a flu shot once in college, when I was still living in the dorms, because I could get it for free, and on campus. I got a meningitis vaccine that way, and a hepatitis vaccine, too.

I haven't gotten a vaccine since I moved off-campus. Had one for the first time in my life last year. Haven't gotten one yet this year but had no adverse affects from the shot so I guess I will be getting one again this season.
