Cold and flu relief

Just for those who haven't heard, stores are pulling all medication with pseudoephefrine off the shelves and hidding them behind the counter because bad folks make bad stuff with them. If you use and like stuff like Claritin-D and Advil Cold and Sinus, pull out your ID and ask the druggest for them. (Ask for a generic brand cause they are about 1/3 of the price and the exact same thing.)
The meds on the shelves now are made with phenilephrine (SP) and I don't think they work as well at all.

They generally hang the card of the medicine out on the shelf so you can take it to the counter for them to pull for you. Think it is just their way of regulating it to make sure kids are getting at them to use in illegal ways. I have seen Walgreens has been doing this for about a year now.

Yeah, you can thank drug addicts of rural areas for that one--they buy that crap and make crystal meth in their in-home labs.

Just FYI, the companies that are using phenilephrine now are switching thier formula, so the old pseudoephefrine ones are not being made anymore - at least with the Tylenol cold and flu products and probably Benelyn. I'll double check at work when I have time. We still sell Sudaphed with pseudoephefrine behind the counter.
