Does anyone know if heating an Atkins shake changes the net carbs?? I warmed some up last night because I wanted HOT CHOCOLATE!! I've also used it for coffee creamer in my decaf
Thanks!
I don't think heating it would alter the carbs... but, beware of shakes and bars... they stall soooo many people! You could probably make hot chocolate by using cream and water, cocoa and splenda...
Just a thought.

I will probably do the cream and cocoa after I get off Induction, but with Stevia instead of Splenda -- but for now I feel safer with the shake. I don't use much of the shake in my coffee -- one lasts about 3 days -- believe it or not I like it better than cream in my coffee!
One bar in the evening while my husband has his cookies and milk - - I started about 9 days ago, and have lost 6# so far - - - happy camper !!
I'll post an introduction on that thread soon . . .
Glad they (shakes and bars) are working for you. Some people do do ok on them, it's true. But... if you should hit a stall, that's the first place I'd look and the first things I'd ditch...
