  • Rash?

Since I started Atkins(Day23, Extended Induction) I am itchy and have a rash on my legs and arms? Anyone else experience this? I haven't switched soaps or laundry detergents, so I'm wondering if it's diet related?
Gonna give em something to talk about

    Re: Rash?

How odd. Are you eating anything you never ate before? You could be allergic to some new food...
Hope you get to the bottom of this soon. Itching is horrid!

      Re: Rash?

      Hi MamaCher,
That sounds really uncomfortable. A little while ago there was a thread about itching in the Main Forum. You'll find it here:

      http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ad.php?t=26336

I've had the itching myself, but never really a rash. It's odd, I've never found it to be what I've eaten myself, just perhaps that it's in places where fat stores are going from lol
I agree with sallyseachange, might be a new to you food though

        Hot Skin and Sugar

        Hi --

I'm on Day 13 but I noticed some skin stuff on Day 10 or so: redness and itchiness in certain areas, even a "hot," inflammation-type feeling. One of my friends who's a bodyworker suggested that when we stop eating sugar we can go through a detoxification process that can drive up certain reactions like this.

So that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
        Started again: 10 November 2007!

        No stats for two weeks.
