Meds Hurt???

oooooo k... as you can see in my Sig, im 47yrs old, Female and currently going thru Perimenopause... i am taking PREMPRO, SINGULAIR (for my allergies) and just recently was put on PAXIL CR (for Anxiety & Family Related Stress)... if anyone is taking these medications, can you tell me if its gonna hurt my progress... im going to start Induction this Saturday No Matter What anyone says! but i do want to know if its going to hinder my weight loss, or slow it down a whole lot... i read in my DANDR that the Hormones in my Prempro WILL, but i dont know about the Singulair or the Paxil... and NO HORROR STORIES PLEASE! i dont want to know if anything BAD happened to you using any of these medications, because they ARE working for me just fine... i just want to know if anyone else uses them and is still going strong! any info will be appreciated! Thanks!

I was on Singulair for several months and don't recall it hindering my weightloss. The reason I stoped taking it was b/c that particular medication didn't work for me, not b/c of weightloss issues (I switched to getting shots and using Astelin nasal spray instead). I'm glad it's helping you though.

Hopefully others can chime in soon about the other meds.

Sorry.... don't take anything like that so am not really qualified to comment, but I believe that though some meds can hinder weight loss, it also depends on you and your individual reaction.... well to some extent, anyway.
Best to try and see how you go, I'd think.
