I was just curious how you've fared with the Atkins diet and flare ups.

Re: Anyone here with cholecycstitis (gall bladder issues?)
I had my gall bladder removed and was having a lot of problems. When I started this WOE my problems have all but disappeared. I would get sad thinking that my life was going to be painful and gross, but since Atkins I am completely "normal"

Good to know! I think I am going to have to have mine out, and I wondered with the meat and full fat we eat if that would be a problem, ya know?

Re: Anyone here with cholecycstitis (gall bladder issues?)
I'm the same as Andi.
I had my gallbladder out more than 22 years ago and had problems the past 22 years since having it removed.
Since starting Atkins all of those problems are gone and I'm living a "normal" life now.

Re: Anyone here with cholecycstitis (gall bladder issues?)
The people I've seen on this board who've had gall bladder probs haven't found Atkins in any way detrimental to the condition... if anything, the opposite. Before and after:
