I am trying to figure out what’s on the bottom of my foot. Last week, I had to walk home because the bus routes were cut off due to a police situation (some guy barricaded himself in his home, I heard). The walk home was a couple of miles and took about an hour.
I was wearing shoes more comfortable than sneakers, and with much more padding. I think it may have been the socks. But after about 20 minutes the ball of my foot started hurting quite a bit, from friction.
I limped on it the whole night and somewhat the next day-I was convinced it was a blister.
It can’t be a blister though, there’s no bubble. There’s still a dark circle patch there and it feels thick when I press on it. Is it a callous? I didn’t think those could form right away?
