I've never used one, but I can't see it being a bad thing to do if you absolutly cannot find any natural remedies that will help get things moving.....exercise, water, flax seed, fiber, etc. Dr. A mentions a LOT of remedies and such in his book so I kind of think it's fair game to chat about here too . For me? I'm a flax fan when it comes to getting things moving

    Hope you get some relief!

Spinach (cooked) does the trick for me, every time.

If you use flax and don't drink a LOT of extra water at the same time it can make things worse rather than better.

TY Kate! maybe that is why it was not that effective for me. I shall try again!

Definitely loads and loads of water with flax... as Kate said, it can work the other way if you're dehydrated.
