  • Lactose Intolerance

OK. So, I am lactose intolerant. I must admit that during my first 2 weeks on this WOE, I consumed cheese. I did not seem to be having the reactions that I used to have (terrible pain and cramps, diarrhea). I noticed a few days ago, though, that I was visibly bloated and uncomfortable in the clothes I was wearing. So, I cut out the dairy for a few days and the bloating went away. Is anybody else lactose intolerant? I don't really know what I am asking here. I guess I am just a little weirded out that the pain/diarrhea part went away, but that my body is still reacting with bloating. Anybody else go through this at all?

    Re: Lactose Intolerance

    PattiAnn,

I have a problem with all milk products. I have in the past been able to tolerate yogurt. I hope that I can do the rungs up to the yogurt. It is my one dairy food that I really love. Cheese is usually not a problem, but the butter, really did me in. So now I use Olive oil spread, and no more belly pain.
Don't know if this is a help or not, just wanted to let you know I feel your pain.
