    Re: Fibroids

I have seen a lot of fibroids.Never seen any that would cause you to have an unusually big abdomen. Now cystic or dermoid ovaries can be huge. The uterus is deep in the pelvis and there is quite a bit of room there.Remember we have fat on the outside as well as visceral fat.You lose both with weight reduction. That will give a lot of extra room for internal organs.Don't cry, just get determined to lose weight.

      Re: Fibroids

Lovie, I had fibroids for years and finally had to have them removed when they became huge (grapefruit size). I thought that I would have a much flatter stomach but alas, it didn't make any difference at all appearance-wise. Felt a zillion times better tho'.

Don't know your weight or age but it should go down with weight loss & exercise.

        Re: Fibroids

I have them as well and the only time I even knew they were there was during my pregnancies. They were of course found during ultrasounds and I was told not to worry. They did grow during my pregnancy but I was warned about that because of the hormones. One did grow large enough that you could see it through my shirt when my daughter would push against that part of my belly but they have never been an issue otherwise. I am currently down over 50 pounds and they have not effected my weightloss at all even in my mid section. You should google it and do some research to put your mind at least. MOST of the time they are nothing to worry about and require no treatment.
