    US food groups warn of sugar shortage - Telegraph
    Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
    he said, 'Don't count calories.'

    Male 6 ft 3in 60 years old. Married 28 years.
    Began Atkins March 04 at 260lb, reduced to 203lb by April 07 and maintained.

    Atkins makes exercise mandatory - I took up cycling - see last pics at 203lb.

    Boy, it is really nice to be able to now say, "Who cares?" I don't use any sugar now for anything. woo hoo!

    I wish this would mean that maybe companies would stop pushing all the junk food and that people would eat less of it but alas, I don't think that will be the case.

    Or what's worse is that these companies will use some sugar substitute, more HFCS or whatever and make foods more frankenfoodish.

      OMG look at the story picture:



      That looked like my eating habits before I found Atkins.
      What I do:
      Elliptical gym machine 1 hr Tue-Sun
      At 320, switch to cycling on my Trek 500
      2 filtered containers water/day
      Daily salads/veggies


      Goals:

      Stop needing High Blood Pressure meds - DONE!
      Workout in a XXXL shirt
      - DONE!
      Workout in a XXL shirt
      Workout in a XL shirt
      270 on the scales
