Atkins and diverticulitis
I have been on Atkins since Oct 31 and have lost 25 pounds. My stomach has been hurting for the past 3 days and since I have been diagnosed with diverticulitis in the past and stomach ache is the sign of a flareup I am wondering if it will hurt my progress to go on a water fast until my colon calms down. Anyone know anything about this? Could this pain be constipation since my bowel movements have slowed down since starting Atkins?
