yep! too many people overfeed their children and stuff a bottle in their face every single time they cry. My best friend did this and her little boy paid for it. Best thing to do is Breast feed on demand. That way you don't know how much they are getting and arent' tempted to make them finish the bottle. They eat til they are full and then stop... Benefits of breastfeeding are too numerous to count. There is rarely a real need to suppliment with formula.

Interestingly, I've just been reading the Taubes book and it seems there is quite some evidence that a predisposition to obesity and insulin resitence problems can start in the womb... if the mother has these insulin problems. Seems that obesity and many diseases that are consequences of insulin problems are not going to go away as easily (!!!) as we might hope, if they are inherited!

i read that even as soon as the baby is in the mothers whomb the baby can start geting health problems like insulin resistant cells which lead to Obesity when the mom eats large amounts of bad carbohydrates while shes pregnant
and not only that look at some of the man made baby food... its an abomination its horrible for a growing baby its no wonder so many kids are fatComment
