I am trying my best to drink LOTS of water, but I drank around 64 oz and I urinated about 12 times.. What can I do to help this and did anyone else have this issue?

If you are not accustomed to drinking much water every day, as long as you have no other health/physical issues, your body sometimes needs a few days to adjust so that you are not running to the rest room as often.
Also 64 oz is just the minimum.
Many people drink more. I drink a minimum of 96 oz each day.
When did you start the Atkins WOE, and when did you start drinking the 64 oz of water?259/206/149

OK, Give it a few more days, it should slowly get better.
It did for me and I am sure many others as well.
But still keep drinking...it is very important!

I secretly think that's part of the plan. All of the trips to the bathroom burn fat. LOL Just kidding but man early on it keeps you running. For me it was mostly during the night. As Mission said, your body does get used to it. I use Camelbak bottles at home and work. My bottle at work was a 16 oz bottle that I filled throughout the day. I swapped that one out for the 32 oz bottle and fill it three times at work alone. I use the 16 oz when I get home giving me around 112 oz for the day. If you would have told me in the beginning I would be drinking that much water I would have asked if you were ok.
So hang in there. It gets better both intake and elimination.

Dyjack brought up a good point.
I don't know if you are having problems getting up at night to go, and if you do, try to get your water in a little earlier in the day.259/206/149
