  • BP going down, pulse rate rising?

Well, my 143/93 blood pressure is a happy 110/71 after just a few weeks back on this WOE. But I've noticed my heart rate is *higher* than usual, even though I feel great. When I started in January it ran 86ish and now it's not unusual for it to be very close to 100. Ack??!!

I've been relatively sendentary for a good while, but started doing circuit training 3-4 times a week, walking more, and even playing a little DDR (Dance Dance Revolution ... which I'm rotten at...hee). Could the increase in activity correspond with an increased heart rate?

How is it my blood pressure is normalizing but my heart appears to be working harder than ever? Does anyone have ANY idea what might be up?

woo hoo congrats on the lower blood pressure. if you wereon any meds for it disucss with your doc about geting off them or alteringthe dose so youdon't bottom out.

talk with your doc about the rate increase.

during your exercise it shold be beating faster but not at rest.
