  • to be or not to be - concerned?

when I went for my cholesterol blood test last week I had the nurse do my blood pressure - this was 160/90 - she said it was a bit high and was not concerned.

I have googled it now and seen threads here and am now actually starting to worry - should I see the GP or trust the nurse?

well as I got no replies my hubbie decided to take things into his own hands and we went and bought a BP monitor (not a cheap thing to buy either!) any how - took my BP and it was 106/75 , and pulse 62, so much happier now!

      Hi Uk Girl,
It might have just been high if u were a little nervous at the drs. Bp numbers can fluctuate a lot. If it was consistently high then u should go back and discuss with GP.
But sounds like everything is much better!
