Blood Tests

Hello, I haven't talked to my doctor about my new way of eating, but I have been reading to have some blood work done just to make sure everything looks good. Is this something my family doctor would take care of? If so, how do I make an appointment for this?

You should call your Dr's office, and tell them you need an annual check-up. Let them know you need blood work done for your cholesterol numbers. Sometimes you can save a lot of legwork if they order the test's before you are seen. You can just pop over to the lab and get your blood work done and then see your Dr. when the results are in.
